Soil Sciences, Geo-Ecology, and Land Use Management
Soil Sciences, Geo-Ecology, and Land Use Management integrate a multitude field of studies at different scales, ranging from colloidal clay minerals, organic matter, and microorganisms to soils as compartments of the pedosphere to processes at the landscape level under anthropogenic impact.
This SUREMA topic deals with the processes controlling the functioning of our environment, includes the analyses of energy and matter fluxes, and aims at identifying management options. It is of central significance for a sustainable and resource saving management of ecosystems.
